Husky Giving Day is coming up and we are excited to share how you can celebrate and support the College of Built Environments on April 6, 2023! This day of giving serves as a moment to celebrate the role philanthropy has in helping CBE fulfill its public service mission to provide accessible education, innovative research opportunities, and realize more equitable and just built environments.
On the 6th, we’re calling on the CBE community to support the Dean’s Fund for Excellence which supports a wide range of important priorities and emerging needs across the college’s programs: Architecture, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Real Estate, and Urban Design & Planning.
By providing flexible funding for the Dean’s priorities, you are supporting immediate needs emerging in the college and growing our capacity to address future opportunities — attracting and retaining the next generation of talented faculty members, investing in the infrastructure needed to accommodate this growth, and expanding scholarships that directly impact student success and access to our programs. Flexible funding like this allows us to continue to be leaders in our fields and ensure the CBE student experience and programming prepare the next generation of designers, planners, and developers to take on the world’s emergent social and environmental challenges.
Our goal for Husky Giving Day this year is to exceed $25,000 in contributions to the Dean’s Fund for Excellence.
