The Runstad Leadership Dinner brought together real estate leaders, partners, and innovators from across the region for an evening focused on industry excellence, collaboration, and community impact. This year’s event raised $700,000, supporting the programs that power the growth and influence of the Runstad Department of Real Estate.
For more than a decade, the dinner has served as a signature gathering for the real estate community. With over $2.5 million generated, this event continues to advance real estate education, research, student support, and industry engagement across the Puget Sound region and beyond.
We are also grateful to Tod Leiweke, CEO of the Seattle Kraken, for sharing his journey and offering valuable insights on leadership and the importance of supporting the communities we serve. His message inspired us all and added a powerful dimension to the evening.
“Each year, this dinner highlights the innovation and collaboration that set our industry apart,” said Shannon Affholter, Co-Chair and Assistant Teaching Professor in the Runstad Department of Real Estate, and the Jon and Judith M. Runstad Endowed Professor in Real Estate. “The energy in the room reflects a community committed to shaping a stronger, more resilient region.”
This year’s event underscored the momentum of a sector that continues to evolve and push boundaries. The conversations and connections made throughout the night reflect a community deeply invested in the region’s future—and in the students, faculty, and industry partners who will lead it.
