A wide range of pathway
Built environments are changing rapidly, and the CBE community is up to the challenge. That’s because we offer curriculum to help our students engage with issues of sustainability, equity, and beyond, so they can become leaders and visionaries guiding the future of built environments.
You’ll find training specific to your degree program at CBE within one of our five departments—Architecture, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Real Estate, or Urban Design & Planning—or our Built Environments PhD program. However, at CBE you’ll be encouraged to think beyond your discipline. After all, careers in built environments aren’t based on knowing how to do just one thing. With a degree from CBE, you’ll be able to apply your skills and knowledge holistically to your chosen field.
Each department at the College of Built Environments has its own specific curriculum, career opportunities, mentors, and ways of interacting with people and places. But, they all offer the same outstanding level of support and mentorship. At CBE, you’ll take part in real-life decision-making processes with community leaders, and help shape the future of Seattle and beyond. You’ll work with mentors to define and strive towards your career goals. And, you’ll learn critical, multidisciplinary skills to help you stand out in your job search.
Explore our departments to discover how we can support your skills and interests. Reach out and ask questions about our programs. Don’t miss out on all that CBE has to offer.
