As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our 2024 graduates, we reflect on the dedication and hard work that have brought them to this significant milestone. This year’s graduation ceremony, held at the Seattle Center, was a memorable occasion, filled with pride and joy as family, friends, and faculty gathered to honor our students’ successes.
This year, we were privileged to hear from John Schaufelberger, College of Built Environments Professor and Dean Emeritus, our distinguished keynote speaker. His inspiring speech provided valuable insights and motivation for our graduates as they step into their next chapters.
We are also excited to announce that Richard DeSanto received the Lionel “Spike” Pries Award for Excellence in Teaching. This esteemed award, created by students of the College of Built Environments, recognizes Richard’s outstanding contribution to education and his lasting impact on our community.
