Congratulations to Ryan Martin, a BA in Architectural Studies student, who was part of the University of Washington men’s rowing team that captured the 2025 IRA National Championship. This win marks UW’s 21st national title—more than any other program in the country.
The Huskies dominated the regatta, with all five of their boats advancing to the grand finals and placing in the top three. Ryan’s dedication, teamwork, and perseverance helped power this historic performance and uphold UW’s legacy of excellence both on and off the water.
We’re proud to celebrate Ryan’s incredible achievement and recognize the balance it takes to excel in both academics and athletics at the highest level.
