The Princeton Review ranks the University of Washington among the top 10 U.S. public universities for return on investment, and No. 4 on the West Coast, in its 2025 “Best Value Colleges” list.
The review considered 650 schools and selected 209 based on affordability, academic strength, graduation rates and career outcomes. At UW, 71% of undergraduates complete their degrees with no known debt, and over 86% are employed or in graduate school within seven months of graduation.
For students in the College of Built Environments, that value translates into applied, real-world learning that leads to careers in architecture, construction management, landscape architecture, real estate and urban planning, in a city defined by innovation.
The ranking highlights UW’s ongoing commitment to student success and expanding access to high-impact, affordable education.
